This is a short guide on how to repair database after power failure in control room.

NB Note!! 
Frontend must be closed before repairing database.

Exit the Frontend application and right click on empty space in taskbar at the bottom of screen to prompt taskbar settings, It will bring up a menu as displayed in image below. Left click on Task Manager.



There is a background process that needs to be closed in task manager for frontend application.

Right click on (Avtech Cloud collector) and End Task 


1. Open HeidiSQL Database manager app on desktop.


2. Open Avtass Database to view files for repair.


3. Right click on (ameeventsdb) and then left click on maintenance.


4. Select  ameeventsdb on left side of screen

 


5. Left click on Drop down option and select repair and extended for options. Once selected as displayed in image below. Left click on execute to start repairing the database.


Files will start being repaired. An indication of how far it is from being completed can be seen at the bottom left of the screen. Once it has reached 100% all can be closed and Frontend opened again.


Once all is complete you may now open Frontend Application again.


When logged into frontend application left click 3 lines on left side of application to bring up options tab.

Then left click on CLOUD COLLECTOR. This will turn Green as displayed in image below, an indication that communication is online again.
